IC info and OOC Rules

The character Azarah Bhen is played as a Seer, Prophet, and Fortune Teller, specifically as a device to help move plots, events, or even characters forward while adding some fun and unexpected twists and turns to the process. I developed this method and concept in other mmo’s and have had wonderful experiences with it over the years, it is tested, tried and true. Officially this a gift/curse that Zarah does not currently discuss in unfamiliar or non paying company at the time of this update. It should also be noted that this is a cooperative experience between myself and other rpers. A spooky accuracy while adding to the characters experience and progress has been the feedback so far!Zarah most commonly receives information via the Echo, her training in the old thaumaturge practices and the dead often make themselves known in her readings. She will perceive information received as hearing, feeling, taste, smell, and finally channeling. Channeling is the most involved and most often used in events. Quite often she looses all consciousness during the channeling process - kicking in the Wild Card Effect.Zarah most commonly will draw out a vision based on information I have been given oocly and I hold in confidence. Most often images will be somewhat abstract and/or very symbolic to serve a treasure map for the player and friends to solve and use on their journey. However, depending on needs, images can be quite specific and realistic. I generally describe the image, however, I on occasion will provide actual artwork, though this is not the norm and should not be expected. She has been known to draw on people's walls....so there isn't always 'artwork to hang'.Zarah may approach another character of your choosing and drop her weird little prophecy bomb on them and then dismiss herself. Please note: I will contact the other player oocly prior to approach as I will not let myself or my character be a tool for stalking, harassment, or godmodding.I can be contacted in game to discuss scenarios, if this rp will enhance immersion and an all around good time, availability times, etc. Please note: I'm not going to tell you exactly how the scene will unfold. The fun is in the surprises. But we DO agree on goals before proceeding.Additional information on themes and limits can be found in my OOC section. I do dark content, I do have a few limits however.

I am an age 21+ veteran rper, US based in EST. I love rp and have rp'd characters in a few different mmo games over the years. I typically am most active weekday evenings and weekends, with other availability as work schedules dictate. If you're reading this because you found me in game (FFXIV), feel free to send a tell and say hi. I love meeting new people, making new friends, and helping out where I can.I'm currently seeking long term, storyline, adventure themes for in game rp. I adore plots and character development over time. I want to know what makes your character tick and even what makes them stop ticking! I'm also looking for people that will wonder the same of Zarah. Friends, enemies and mature themes welcome. While I am an experienced rper, if you are a newbie, don't be shy...I want to know you and your character too!My rp style is fairly organic. I enjoy exploring in game and love rp throughout the in game world. I adore a natural and creative flow that is fueled not only by the world around us, but character dynamics as well. My writing often reflects the tone of rp, ranging from lighthearted to serious and descriptive. I love walk ups! But feel free to send a tell in game for a time to rp as well, especially if you've found me without my rp flag up. I only rp with players 21 and up. Discord and Mare codes are reserved for long term contacts.I will play mature content and themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. Walk-up encounters where appropriate.Romance RP is adored, but the relationship has to feel natural and right for the two involved IC and will require a level of OOC comfort and coordination as well, being mindful of proper separation being observed at all times. Tying characters together in this way is a big commitment, so both parties need to communicate and respect each other. I much prefer a slow-burn intense build approach as opposed to a whirlwind race to the finish line. Zarah's personality will require close connection and time before she considers anyone as a romantic interest. I am up for a lot of things when it comes to romance, as long as it serves the story. However, neither Zarah, nor I, are interested in random or quick ERP. Additionally, understand that I am not seeking rp romance to be a vehicle to a real life OOC relationship.If an aspect of RP makes you uncomfortable in a scene we're playing, please send me a /tell, letting me know. Communication is very important, more important than potentially keeping immersion.
